DESCRIPTION:Town Council\n\nChapel Hill's council takes up a $65 annual library fee on Wednesday for Orange County residents who live outside the town limits. Staff recommend adopting it\, citing the 2023 Library Task Force report. The town's library has been free to county residents\, and this would change that for everyone beyond the corporate limits.\n\nThe council also sees the draft Land Use Management Ordinance\, the rewrite that has been in front of one board or another since a 4-4 tie sank the omnibus package in November.
