Both carry ten percent contingencies on top. Four consolidated annexations get public hearings the same night\, each bringing county land into the city with a utility extension agreement attached.\n\nTwo resolutions are the unusual items. One endorses the recommendations of the Durham Violence Reduction Working Group\, presented at the August work session. The other\, brought by a council member rather than staff\, recognizes two tenant unions by name and affirms the role tenant unions play in housing.
