The applicant held a neighborhood meeting at the Cedar Grove Community Center on July 22\, and owners within 1\,000 feet were notified by mail 14 days before this meeting. The county commissioners are expected to hold the public hearing on October 6. Most of it concerns paratransit. A visitor already certified as ADA paratransit eligible where they live can ride here 21 days out of any 365 before having to apply locally. The pickup window is defined as 15 minutes either side of the negotiated time\, and an operator waits five minutes before marking a rider a no-show. An ADA certified rider brings a personal care attendant free and one companion at the rider's fare.\n\nThe guide also sets out a three-level passenger code of conduct. Level I brings a suspension of 30 days to three months\, Level II 90 days to six months\, and Level III at least 180 days or a permanent exclusion. A suspended rider can appeal in writing within 30 days and ask for a hearing with the transportation director. DESCRIPTION:Historic Preservation Commission\n\nOrange County's historic preservation commission took no votes on August 26 and spent the evening on staff presentations. The substantive one was Murphey School\, a county historic landmark\, where staff brought new renovation concepts ahead of an eventual certificate of appropriateness request. Staff also walked the commission through proposed federal changes to Section 106 review\, the rule that requires federal projects to account for their effect on historic properties.\n\nThe updates ran long and covered a lot of ground: the Montrose landmark process\, ground penetrating radar at the Poor House Cemetery\, a cemetery donation at Harvey's Chapel\, new hut designs at Occaneechi Village\, and complaints about the appearance of the historic courthouse. Commissioners also heard that a historic house at 752 Rex Drive in Hillsborough had been destroyed\, and discussed scheduling field trips to sites including the Hughes House in Cedar Grove\, the Old Eno Quaker Burying Ground and the Capt.
