This week
What local government is doing this week
Pittsboro's commissioners spend much of Monday the 12th on Chatham Park's South Village. They hear presentations on design plans for four sections, a transportation update and a fiscal impact analysis, then discuss PB-26-243, which the Planning Board recommended with conditions. No vote on the South Village plans is scheduled. The same night the board holds a public hearing on the Roberts Run subdivision plat, which the Planning Board recommended unanimously.
Four agendas are posted so far. Chapel Hill's Historic District Commission resumes the hearing on Tuesday the 13th on an accessible-lift addition at 204 Glenburnie Street, continued from 8 September. Morrisville's council meets that evening with phase 2 of the Church Street Park field reconstruction on consent and a first look at a node policy for its Smart Shuttle. It holds a work session Thursday on reordering its capital projects.
The other 29 meetings carry no item list yet. Tuesday is the crowded night on the calendar, with Apex's, Holly Springs' and Raleigh's councils all meeting, and Durham County's commissioners and Hillsborough's board meet Monday evening.
52 boards meet across 19 governments, with 175 agenda items on file.
Written when 33 of this week's meetings had posted an agenda; 52 have now. The counts below are current.

Added after the agenda went up
These were not on the agenda when it was first published. A late addition is how the public gets surprised: somebody reads the agenda, decides nothing on it concerns them, and the thing that does arrives afterwards.
