The Planning Board held its March 24 organizational meeting, electing Rick Madoni as chair and Thomas Urquhart as vice chair. Van Crandall and Sara Kempin will represent the board on the Land Use Advisory Committee. Joanna Holder and Craig Kessler will serve as primary and secondary representatives on the Tree Advisory Committee. Thomas Urquhart will represent the board at the Town Council's April 21 meeting, and Sara Kempin at its May 19 meeting.

The board opened a public hearing on Rezoning 25-REZ-09 for New School Montessori. After a staff overview from senior planner Cheryl Caines, the applicant asked to continue the case, and the board voted to carry it to the April 28 Planning Board meeting rather than act on it that night. The Tree Advisory Committee reported on an Arbor Day dogwood planting, with its next meeting set for April 13.
