Town Council Workshop Meeting

Town of Holly Springs · Town Council

What's on this agenda

Holly Springs staff bring the Town Council a draft housing affordability action plan with 22 implementation steps, worked up from the three areas and nine actions the council endorsed at its June workshop. If the council is satisfied with the draft, the plan goes to the Planning Board this month, then to a public hearing and an adoption vote in October. Forty minutes are set aside for it.

The council also reviews where the Downtown Investment Grant program's boundary runs. Economic development staff will compare how other Wake County towns draw theirs and what widening the eligible area would do. A third block covers community engagement, following council direction from June: listening sessions, neighborhood leadership and a 311 service. This is a workshop, so the council gives direction rather than voting, and a closed session is listed if one turns out to be needed.
