The board approved the final draft of the Agricultural Viability and Farmland Stewardship Plan, as revised by a subcommittee, to send to the county commissioners. Dana Hall, the county's present-use value compliance appraiser, told the board she audits at least one-eighth of the county's 3,077 PUV-enrolled parcels each year, about 246 parcels, to check continued eligibility for the tax program.

The board also approved its Nov. 19 meeting summary and heard updates on the voluntary agricultural district program, including plans for VAD landowner presentations at the March meeting.
