Read from the agenda's recorded outcomes. Where the board published minutes, those are the record — this is a pointer to them.
What's on this agenda
Six matters, and an unusual one first: a hearing on whether a person has standing to appeal at all, before any valuation is argued. Then five appeals - two residential properties and three business personal property penalties for filing a listing late.

Meeting recap
What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes
The business personal property items are the small end of the tax system and rarely visible. Three companies - an electrical contractor, a real estate business and a network firm - are appealing late-listing penalties of $192.91, $10.95 and $12.62. North Carolina requires businesses to list their taxable equipment and fixtures each January; miss the window and a penalty follows automatically. None of the three sent anyone.
The two residential appeals are scheduled two and a quarter hours apart, one with the owner attending and one without. The standing hearing that opens the meeting is separate business again: before the board can hear someone's argument about value it has to be satisfied the person is entitled to make it.
How the votes went
All six matters passed. Five were unanimous at 3-0: both standing denials, both value appeals, and the two penalty waivers. The third penalty appeal was denied 2-1.
From the published minutes.
