Transit Public Outreach Specialist Fabian Rodriguez briefed the board on GoCary's eight fixed routes, an updated Apex-Cary route, a new East Cary route to NC State and the fairgrounds, solar lighting at bus stops, and a ridership survey planned for this fall. The board then approved its Annual Report unanimously, and discussed 2025-2026 priorities including a Green Neighborhood Program for HOAs and renters and using the town's 311 tool to target outreach.

The board received written public comment from two residents raising stormwater concerns: increased runoff onto their Pleasants Avenue properties from the Soca 56 and Byrum Flats developments, which they said is worsening flood risk, and a request that the town and developers install larger drainage pipes in low-lying areas. Members also discussed starting a recurring book discussion at future meetings and flagged the Cary Environmental Symposium coming in September.
