The committee adopted its January 28 agenda and its December 17 minutes without objection, and no members of the public signed up to speak. After introductions and an overview of Cary's cultural arts policies, members went over William Lewis's report to the committee and the FY 2027 grant review schedule with no questions raised.

In new business, the committee reviewed what it had set out to do in 2025, then set its 2026 goals on a motion from Maria Munoz, seconded by Cara Lewis, and established work groups toward those goals. Robbie Stone walked members through the grant review process. The committee also reviewed the language governing its liaison roles and heard a report from its Teen Council members. The meeting ran from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
