What's on this agenda
Cary's Historic Preservation Month committee met virtually for 25 minutes on April 8, working through the report the full commission would see that evening: the programme dates, which events needed volunteers, and how communications would be coordinated with other town departments.
Most of the session was outreach to other groups.

Meeting recap
What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes
A member reported back on contacting preservation organizations nearby. She could not find a contact at the Town of Apex, though she noted the Apex Historical Society runs its own activities. Preservation North Carolina's listings showed the Durham annual home tour on May 16 and 17 and nothing else for Historic Preservation Month, so she planned to call their programming and events manager. Outreach to the Fine Arts League of Cary produced an introduction to its board chair, who said the league was already in conversation with someone about featuring the Waldo House, possibly for a downtown tour on June 13.
On Herb Fest, communications about the booth would go through one member, and the application with its setup guidelines had been forwarded; vendors must be in place by 11:30 a.m. The meeting ended at 1:25 p.m.
