Parker's Ridge is waiting on one final permit from the state environmental department and on the contractor to put safety fencing and other requirements in place before groundbreaking. Dates will be announced once that is done.

Most of the meeting went on the annual report's slides. Staff questioned whether farmland preservation still belongs under barriers and challenges, since the development ordinance and other departments now address it, and whether the same is true of the lack of a measurable matrix for conservation of natural resources. One member was comfortable dropping farmland preservation but wanted the matrix point kept until the measurements are in place. The committee tabled the annual summary until staff report back. The minutes were approved unanimously.
