Chatham County's Environmental Review Advisory Committee met by video on 9 January 2025 to discuss two environmental impact assessments: Riverbend at Laurel Ridge and the Strowd property.

Both came back to the Planning Board later in the year. Berrybrook Crossing at Strowd Farm was recommended in May, and Riverbend Estates at Laurel Ridge was tabled in August over this committee finding its assessment incomplete, then recommended 7-3 in September.
