The September minutes were approved. Staff reported the county's purchase of the Johnson Heirs property beside the South Bynum river access, which the committee walked the following March. A member asked that the understory be kept or replanted for birds and insects after invasive species are removed, and staff said a planting plan is being worked up for all the county's parks.

The committee reviewed the end-of-year presentation going to the commissioners in January and added the word facilities to its third goal. The meeting adjourned at 7:15.
