The board's single agenda item was a progress update on AskCary, the town's planned resident-facing service tool. Amsys, the vendor building it, showed board members Boston's version of the tool as a model and walked through Cary's build. Members asked about the radius on a map search and photo lookups by address. They also wanted bus stop and school zone information, and a way to flag wrong data for correction.

Staff also gave watch-list updates. The town closed on the multimodal-property purchases discussed under economic development, where Cary's average sale price runs about $768,000. On future technologies, staff described a pilot that mounts cameras on trash trucks to spot potholes and overgrown vegetation. A Lenovo-hosted workshop drew 38 municipalities interested in sharing similar tools. Staff also said Cary is no longer in drought and is hiring a communications director. No residents spoke.
