A 24-minute meeting with no votes beyond the minutes and adjournment. Larry Piezzo chaired in Jamie Fiocco's absence and the board welcomed Bill Hartley, newly appointed. Finance officer Faye Ward presented the March financials and general manager Scott Cox reported on sales, the board's ranking among North Carolina ABC systems, and operations at the downtown store and the Northwood Landing store.

The board set its meeting dates for the rest of the year, all at 3 p.m. at the Sanford Road store, and discussed the preliminary budget, planning and timing for an assistant finance officer, whether to stagger board terms, and a remote meeting policy for members, staff and the public. Nobody spoke at public comment.

The only recorded votes were procedural. The March 17 minutes were approved unanimously on a motion by Emmett Davenport, seconded by Jonathan Franklin, with Chair Jamie Fiocco absent. Franklin moved to adjourn, seconded by Larry Piezzo, at 3:24 p.m.
