The board voted unanimously to join the North Carolina ABC Commissioners Association. Two housekeeping matters came up under board topics: canceling the December 2026 meeting because of the holidays, and the town needing to post an upcoming vacancy on the board.

The general manager reported on sales and where the Pittsboro system ranks in the state, and on operations at the downtown store and the Northwood Landing store. The state ABC Commission was due to run a performance evaluation on 2 February 2026. The finance officer presented the November and December financials.

All four members present voted together on everything. The secretary was absent, a town commissioner attended, and nobody spoke in public comment.

How the votes went

Joining the NCABCOA was approved unanimously on a motion by Jonathan Franklin, seconded by Jamie Fiocco. The December 2, 2025 minutes were approved unanimously on a motion by Larry Piezzo, seconded by Emmett Davenport. Adjournment carried unanimously.
