Six committee members and the downtown development director walked through downtown Pittsboro after dark to see how it feels and works at night. They talked about beautification, maintenance, the pedestrian experience, landscaping, lighting, where public art might go, connectivity and storefront appearance. No decisions were taken. The walk started at Page Vernon Park on Hillsboro Street at 5:05 p.m. and ended at 6:20.
