Garner's Town Council handled a busy consent agenda July 21 -- stop-condition ordinances for the Cambria and Creech Road subdivisions, a no-parking ordinance for three streets in the Edge of Auburn subdivision, a resolution setting an August 4 public hearing on the White Oak Storage annexation, and a corrective amendment to the FY27 position classification plan -- before moving to legislative public hearings. Those covered a second White Oak Road annexation (8.51 acres, submitted by Fahad Ahmed), a Tier 1 conditional rezoning of 31.24 acres at 7615 Ten Ten Road from Rural Agricultural and Commercial Mixed Use to a more intensive Commercial Mixed Use category, and a zoning text amendment to permit funeral homes by right in the Neighborhood Mixed Use district, correcting an oversight from the 2022 Unified Development Ordinance.
