Meeting recap

What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes

Orange County's Ordinance Review Committee spent two hours on February 4 going through planning staff's draft changes to subdivision review, including when a subdivision splitting off from a single parent tract should trigger a full review. Members debated whether more or fewer subdivision applications should require planning board review and asked staff to clarify how public notice and neighborhood meetings work under the current process.

The committee also asked staff to pull a five-year history of approved major subdivisions to inform its review. The committee does not require a quorum and took no votes.
