The board adopted its agenda and June 2 minutes without objection and heard no public comment. Youth Programs Coordinator Ally Parker updated the board on the Cary Teen Council, reporting 530 members renewed for another year, a new Rosterfy volunteer management system, and the July Cary Public Service Academy; members discussed registration dates and how teens volunteer at the Senior Center. The board approved its 2024-2025 annual report as amended, unanimously.

Department reports covered fall program registration opening August 6 for residents, ongoing Lazy Daze volunteer registration and 250 donated art pieces for the Kids Collector Market, a new Park and Ride location at South Hills, the reopening of the Southern Botanical Garden at Downtown Cary Park, and a successful Senior Center yard sale with plans for a 25th-anniversary lunch and speaker event. The Cary Art Daze work group discussed cross-promotional plans for the August 22-23 Demo Daze event and early planning for Lazy Daze's 50th anniversary next year. The board adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
