The board adopted its agenda and June 2 minutes without objection. Jess MacDonald, Dev Hirji and Susan Jaconis of Cary's Human Relations, Inclusion, and Diversity Advisory Board discussed translating public safety information on the town website; members noted the site already switches language based on browser settings and discussed adding local-language 911 service, with Council Liaison Lori Bush recommending the two boards collaborate and noting a website refresh and translation services would need to be included in next year's budget.

The board reviewed and unanimously approved its 2024-2025 annual report, which covered a year of speaker presentations on the GoCary dashboard, Cary's AI use procedure, 311 service, sustainability strategy, marketing, digital twin technology and budget development, after adding a note about Sentiment City. In other updates, Bush described a presentation on AI policy considerations for the town, members discussed a possible TikTok presence and Cary's Environmental Symposium, and Bush reported 38 people applied for open ISAB seats, with three new members joining and a new vice chair to be elected in October. The meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m.; the next meeting is September 8.
