The board adopted its Rules of Order and elected Vince Beese as vice chair, both by unanimous vote. New members were introduced and given an orientation to the board, and council liaison Sarika Bansal and director John Collins outlined their vision for the coming year. Members worked through a capital budget exercise with staff and discussed priorities for the 2025-2026 work plan, including land dedications, volunteerism, equity and accessibility, and cultural arts programming, but put off a formal vote on the year's goals to the next meeting. Nobody spoke during public comment.
