The staff liaison reported the senior center survey, part of the accreditation process, is being reviewed and updated — it went to two other advisory boards in the following weeks for comment. She also reported successful Scam Jam and senior health fair events at the Cary Senior Center and the centre's anniversary celebration in October.

The council liaison briefed the board on new GoCary routes, an updated schedule and accessibility upgrades starting in November, and on the 2026 biennial citizen survey, sent to a random sample of residents to measure confidence in town operations.

Three unanimous votes: appointing a vice chair (Mitsch/Chen), adopting the rules of order (Brigham/Tramontin), and adopting the 2025-26 work plan (Mitsch/Brigham). The agenda and September minutes were approved without objection.
