The e-bike discussion is the part that went somewhere. The council liaison yielded her time so members could talk about usage, restrictions and how any rule would be enforced. A member reported that the Greenway Committee is not against e-bikes and recommends education and enforcement rather than a ban; another suggested requiring licenses. Cary's council took up e-bike policy at its own work session two weeks later and settled on education first, with ordinance amendments in the autumn.

On the tour, members and staff went through new ramps and materials, the phases of building work, pump tracks at other parks and skate parks in nearby towns, and members asked about operating costs and how demand compares with funding. The board also walked Godbold Park, where a member noted the Black Creek Greenway crossing is used as a model crosswalk for Wake County. Nobody spoke at public comment.
