Council Member Lori Bush updated the board on potential partnerships with the ISAB, including online ADA accessibility and the AskCary tool. A member asked whether Cary tracks website traffic. Bush said the town uses Zencity sentiment analysis to see where visitors come from and how announcements affect engagement. She said an AI pilot on the town's site has data-security guardrails in place. Bush also said livestreaming board meetings lacks majority support and isn't in this year's budget, so progress on it has been limited. Members also discussed promoting 311 translation services, including at Public Safety Day.

For old business, members discussed staffing a table at the Public Safety Day event on September 5. They also weighed whether to move or rework the board's community conversation event. On a motion by Prajapati, seconded by Smith, the board voted unanimously to table the community conversation event to a future meeting. Neither item produced a recommendation to the town council; the meeting's only recorded vote was that procedural motion to table.
