Land use dominates. Five annexations move on the consent agenda and two more come to public hearing, alongside two rezonings — one of them an amendment to the Veridea special district plan covering the Wake Tech Conlon campus, which is the largest thing here by acreage and consequence.

The consent agenda is long and mostly contracts: on-call service agreements, a yard waste contract with Liberty Waste, an Axon agreement covering a drone program, and a police training budget amendment. There is also an interlocal agreement with Chatham County and an MOU with Raleigh, both of which commit Apex to work it cannot unwind alone. Appointments to the Board of Adjustment are taken separately.
