Meeting recap
What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes
The board approved its August minutes and heard that about 65 people attended the recent Skate Park grand opening. During board comments, the chair relayed a community group's interest in trail connectivity and said a broken water fountain at Mary Hayes Barber Holmes park should be repaired within three to six months; a member also asked about recognizing a board member who recently resigned. The Parks and Recreation Director then walked the board through Chapters 1, 2, and 5 of the Chatham Park South Village Small Area Plan, covering introduction, land use, and parks, greenways and open space, for general discussion rather than a vote.
