All three passed 9-0 with nine of eleven voting members present. The grant change puts the board at the end of the review chain for facade and building rehabilitation money rather than the Design Committee. The Vision and Strategy item has appeared on every regular agenda since.

Under board comments members took up two more things. They discussed temporary uses for the patio of the space formerly known as Havoc, which came back as an action item on the September agenda under the name SoCo Patio. They also voted 7-0, two members having left by then, to recommend the commissioners move the board's regular meeting from the first Tuesday of the month to the second. In staff updates the town manager reported that Pittsboro ranks tenth in the state for Main Street spending per capita, and the downtown development director said Phillip Thompson had agreed to serve as an ex-officio member representing the Chatham Economic Development Corporation, with the nomination going to the commissioners in August.
