The mid-year report put most committee projects on track to finish by June 30, 2026. Website updates move to staff at the start of FY27.

On the conditional rezoning request for South Masonic Street, the board reviewed the developer's latest information against its own earlier recommendations on guidelines and permitted uses. The economic vitality committee is drafting recommendations for the Masonic Street properties and for updated development ordinance language, hoping to bring them to the board in March.

Staff asked the board to review past requests and the approved budget and bring recommendations back in February, and raised the question of committee attendance policies. The downtown handbook comes to the board in February, and the Main Street conference is in March.

How the votes went

Five unanimous 8-0 votes: excusing two absences, adopting the agenda, approving the December 2 minutes, approving the farmers market sponsorship with a budget amendment request to the commissioners, and approving the sculpture placement. Adjourned at 6:08 p.m.
