The Planning Commission met virtually on June 16 with five of its six members present; Libby Thomas was absent. On a motion by Elizabeth Losos, seconded by Vice Chair Geoffrey Green, the commission approved its May 19 minutes unanimously. In announcements, members noted that Green had been appointed as a community representative to the Carolina North Stakeholder Advisory Committee, and that the Town Council had extended Mitchell's and Losos's terms on the commission through June 30, 2027.

Staff member Tas Lagoo presented the draft LUMO to the commission for discussion. The commission took no vote and made no recommendation on it. The meeting adjourned at 10:15 PM, with the next meeting set for August 18.

The commission approved the May 19 minutes by a unanimous 5-0 vote, with Thomas absent. No other votes were taken; the LUMO item was a staff presentation with no motion.
