Meeting recap

What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes

The commission continued the West Orange Street application to November at the applicant's request. It approved the South Cameron Street courtyard addition 4-1, over member Miller's objection that enclosing the courtyard harmed the building's character, with a condition on brick color. The West King Street garage was approved 5-0 with conditions on window style and a lighting cut sheet, and the West Tryon Street dormers and pool and the West Margaret Lane suite were each approved 5-0 as submitted. The commission also reelected Will Senner as chair, 5-0 with Senner abstaining, and put off electing a vice chair to the November meeting.
