Meeting recap
What happened, drawn from the records published after the meeting. Minutes
This is where the parks council learns what the capital plan does to its department. It had been told in November 2025 that many parks and environment projects were deferred behind a $300 million school bond and $100 million more for school renovations, and by September 2026 the council had an agenda item titled simply ramifications.
The trails plan reached the commissioners on 14 April, which followed the two public workshops that drew about 70 people between them and a drafting period the consultants began in late 2025. The council also takes new member introductions - one member had been appointed by the commissioners since the April meeting.
