The board adopted its agenda and August minutes without objection. Members who toured Dorcas Ministries during a volunteer day called it a valuable community outing and discussed making it an annual event. The chair recapped a recent Interdepartmental Services Advisory Board meeting on translating public safety information, saying it was well received and opened the door to future partnerships. A demographics review was deferred to October. The board also previewed a September 5 community engagement booth tied to an Inside Out 2 movie screening at Downtown Park, and welcomed new Teen Council members, who reported the Teen Council has grown to 300 members.
