7. 7 Request to Amend the FY2023-24 Budget and Other Capital Project Ordinances

    The council would approve a grant agreement with Development Ventures Inc. of up to $1,800,000 for the Fayette Place and Forest Hills Heights redevelopment.
12. 12 2024 General Obligation Bond Referendum

    The council would introduce two General Obligation Bond Orders — $85,000,000 for parks and recreation, $115,000,000 for streets and sidewalks — and set a public hearing on both for June 17, 2024.
13. 13 Insurance Plan FY25 - FY27

    The council would authorize the city's FY25-FY27 insurance plan, capping premiums at $3,307,500 for FY25, $3,803,625 for FY26, and $4,374,168 for FY27.
14. 14 2024 North Carolina Summer Fire Camp Program Grant Project Ordinance

    The council would adopt a grant project ordinance and a $3,500 agreement with the state Office of the Fire Marshal for the Junior Fire Marshal Camp and Bull City Blazers Girls Camp.

16. 16 First Amendment to Contract to Create Public Art for South Ellerbe Restoration Project Using CIP Public Art Funds

    The council would add $45,400 to the public art contract with Silverado Fabricators and Makers Services, LLC, for the South Ellerbe Restoration Project, raising the total to $95,400, and extend completion to October 30, 2026.
17. 17 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)/Coronavirus State Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CSLFRF) Funds Subaward Agreement Between City of Durham, North Carolina and St. Joseph's Historic Foundation, Inc.

    The council would fund Made In Durham's education-to-career initiatives with up to $150,000.
21. 21 Contract Amendment #2 for Durham Workforce Development Board, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act - NCWorks Career Center Operations with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc.

    The council would amend the WIOA NCWorks Career Center Operations contract with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc., adding $100,000 for July 2024 through September 2025 and raising the contract cap to $300,000.
22. 22 Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Durham, Central Pines Regional Council and Durham County Regarding Cost Sharing for the Roxboro Rail Trail Master Plan

27. 27 Update to the Vision Zero Resolution

    The council would repeal its earlier resolution supporting Vision Zero Durham (Resolution #10049) and adopt a new Resolution Committing to Vision Zero.
28. 28 Construction of a New Traffic Signal (05-0811) at US-501/N. Roxboro St and Monk Rd

    The council would award a $337,105 contract to ALS of North Carolina, LLC, to build a new traffic signal at US-501/North Roxboro Street and Monk Road, with total project cost, including contingency, capped at $387,670.75.
29. 29 Amendment 1 to the Professional Services Contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., for the West End Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project

    The council would add $491,900 to the Kimley-Horn and Associates engineering contract for the West End Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project, raising it to $3,539,717, with total project cost capped at $3,894,000.
30. 30 Amendment to the Service Contract with Water Worx Services, Incorporated for Residential Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing and Repair

    The council would amend the Water Worx Services contract for residential backflow prevention testing and repair, cutting its total from $117,982.50 to $34,153 while expanding scope and extending the term.
31. 31 Amendment to the Service Contract with Acme Services of Durham, Inc. for Residential Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing and Repair

    The council would amend the Acme Services of Durham contract for the same backflow prevention work, cutting its total from $121,732.50 to $42,500 while expanding scope and extending the term.

33. 37 Public Hearing for the City Manager's Proposed Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget and Fiscal Year 2025-30 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
