Work session Comprehensive planZoning text amendment

What's on this agenda

This special work session is the fourth the Planning Board has held this year on the town's comprehensive rewrite of the Unified Development Ordinance, called outside the board's regular monthly meeting to keep the multi-year project moving. Consultants from Houseal Lavigne Associates will present proposed development standards covering general provisions, building design, access and mobility, tree protection, landscaping, buffers and lighting.

The standards grow out of recommendations in the comprehensive plan and feedback from a public open house and online survey held earlier this year, after the same consultants presented proposed zoning districts and use regulations. No votes are scheduled; the board is being asked only for feedback before further work sessions cover other sections of the ordinance. The rest of the printed agenda holds only the call to order, adoption of the agenda and adjournment.
