What's on this agenda

The Wake Forest Planning Board calls this session outside its normal monthly schedule to keep a multi-year rewrite of the town's zoning code on track. Consultants from Houseal Lavigne Associates present proposed standards on street design, natural resources, signage, nonconformities and administrative processes, the sixth work session in an ongoing Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) comprehensive update that began with a project kickoff and public engagement, then moved through zoning district and use standards in 2023 and PUD, subdivision and open-space standards in February 2024.

No voting items are on the agenda. The board meets only to give staff and the consultant feedback, and the agenda notes more work sessions and public engagement will follow as the project continues.
