Wake Forest's commissioners adopt the 2025-26 budget ordinance on 17 June, and authorise two county tax administrators to collect for them. The town straddles a county line, so Wake and Franklin each levy and collect its property taxes and stormwater fees.

The consent agenda also carries the Town Hall Annex remodel at $588,900, a stormwater capital reserve fund, a budget ordinance amendment, streets taken into the town system for maintenance, and a petition for contiguous annexation of 2.58 acres on Wait Avenue.
