Wake Forest commissioners will hold three public hearings September 15: one on capital spending priorities for the town's fiscal 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Plan, one on a town-initiated annexation of 8.25 acres at 0 Devon Square Boulevard, and one on amendments to the town's Comprehensive Transportation Plan. Wake Forest's commissioners opened the budget season on Tuesday with a public hearing on what belongs in the five-year capital improvement plan for 2027 through 2032. Two more hearings followed: amendments to the town's comprehensive transportation plan, which the Planning Board has already recommended, and the annexation of 8.25 acres at 0 Devon Square Boulevard, a parcel the town itself owns. The board voted on both the annexation and the transportation plan later in the same meeting.
