The revaluation presentation set out what was coming: assessment staff started work in 2023, an outside vendor supplied the commercial data, and every parcel was reviewed against sales through the 1 January 2025 appraisal date. Notices would carry an appeal form and a list of frequently asked questions.

The county received an unmodified audit opinion for the year ended 30 June 2024, and the board approved an amendment to the audit services contract.

On school construction, the board heard from a program management director who has handled roughly $2.7 billion of school capital work in four districts. She distinguished program management, meaning oversight across multiple projects to keep them consistent and aligned, from project management on each individual job, which is still needed either way. The county and the two districts have yet to settle which model to use for the bond programme. The board had begun this discussion on 21 January and adjourned early for weather.

The board adopted its 2025 legislative priorities unanimously, adding by consensus a request for recurring state funding for affordable housing programmes such as the Workforce Housing Loan Program, so local government employees can live where they work. A commissioner also asked to pursue legislation on Habitat homeowners whose tax bills are disproportionate to what they pay for their homes.

Two young residents spoke, both title holders in the county's first Miss America organisation competition, on oral health education and on bullying and mental health.
