Chatham County's Agriculture Advisory Board met on 9 June at Woodland Farm on NC 902 and took its first update on the Enbridge pipeline, the item that would occupy it through the summer. It also reviewed voluntary agricultural district applications, discussed a new member application, and took the farmland preservation report.

The board set its next meeting for 8 September, and in the event held a special meeting on 30 July to call a public hearing on the pipeline for 18 August.
