What's on this agenda

This work session covers two new micromobility ordinances and the start of budget season. The board will consider updates to its motorized-scooter and e-bike ordinance (adopted in January 2026) that add rider regulations and update enforcement and civil penalties, plus a new companion ordinance letting officers impound e-bikes and other micromobility devices involved in unsafe or reckless riding. Budget Director Michelle Daniels will also walk the board through the proposed FY 2026-2027 operating budget, the first of what is likely to be several budget discussions before adoption.

The rest of the agenda is routine: April's monthly financial report, a preview of the June 16 regular meeting agenda, and a closed session under attorney-client privilege. The board also plans to discuss how to fill a vacant commissioner seat.
