What's on this agenda
Commissioners weigh whether Wake Forest should run Youngsville's information technology under an interlocal agreement. Youngsville now contracts with an outside provider and its council has authorized moving forward, though the town attorney is still reviewing the draft. The packet gives no price. With the board's direction it would return for approval November 17.
Six applicants introduce themselves for three Planning Board seats, two in town and one in the ETJ, ahead of appointments on November 17. Staff walk through September finances, which show the General Fund $11.6 million in deficit before most property tax payments arrive, a pattern staff call typical. The session ends with a closed session under the property acquisition provision of the open meetings law.
