    Via, the town's microtransit partner, will update the board on how fares (started February 1, 2026) have affected demand, revenue, and service quality on Go Wake Forest, and will present options for expanding service now that fare revenue has reduced the town's required match for Wake Transit funding.

    Staff is asking the board for consensus on the 2027 events calendar: cutting Friday Night on White from six events a year to three, moving the July 3 fireworks gate time to 7 p.m., and combining the Holiday Kickoff and the Lighting of Wake Forest into one signature event run by Wake Forest Downtown, Inc.
