The board voted 6-0 to treat bark scale on downtown crape myrtle trees with a soil drench, starting with trees near sidewalk dining and seating areas. Members also discussed staffing tables at two upcoming events, a Garden Club pollinator program and an Earth Day celebration, without taking formal action.

Chair Tim Logue and member Brian Mayell briefed the board on their presentations at the Invasive Plant Council symposium. The Garden Club reported its plant sale is set for April 25, and staff photographed board members for the town's Communications Division. The board approved its Feb. 18 minutes and its March 18 agenda, both 6-0, and adjourned at 10:55 a.m.
