Orange County's transit tax district staff working group voted unanimously on February 6 to postpone its proposed FY27 schedule change rather than adopt it, after members called the timetable too aggressive given how many comments and project questions were still unresolved. About 75 to 80 sponsor questions on the draft work program had come in, most from Orange County, and the group agreed to prioritize the highest-impact ones given the time available.

On priorities for the FY27 work program itself, members discussed removing or changing funding for several projects, including a Chapel Hill data monitoring project, Hillsborough's Ridgeway Greenway and extra outer-year funding for GoTriangle's Route 800, and asked whether $300,000 is the right funding level to update the Orange County Transit Plan. The group set its next meeting for February 18, when it planned to review a status-quo report before deciding on the schedule and project tradeoffs. No public comment was received.
