Orange County's transit Staff Working Group approved all nine sets of back minutes on 19 August, each unanimously, and re-elected Josh Mayo as chair and Ashley Ownbey as vice chair, 11-0. The approved minutes record that the Orange Transit Plan had $10.4 million in revenue through the third quarter, $8.7 million of it from the half-cent sales tax. It held $34.6 million in cash and investments, about $9 million of it encumbered. Roughly $4 million in operating money was unspent at the end of the third quarter.

Members discussed how the tax district will use unaudited financial data to pay out the increased cost of existing services to Orange County and Chapel Hill Transit, and agreed more clarity was needed. In project updates, Chapel Hill Transit said its bus rapid transit design is 90% complete, with property bought for the first two segments from Southern Village to north of downtown. Hillsborough said Churton Street will be rebuilt as four lanes with signals rather than roundabouts. Carrboro expects the Morgan Creek Greenway done by year end. No one spoke at public comment.
