13. 12 Amendment No. 1 to Sewer System Evaluation Survey Services Contract for Professional Services with CDM Smith, Inc.

    The council would add $2,258,000 to the CDM Smith sewer system evaluation survey contract, bringing it to $3,648,000, plus a $225,000 contingency fund and authority to negotiate change orders up to $3,873,000.

    The council would authorize a design-build amendment with Dewberry Design-Builders for the Durham Bulls Athletic Park boiler replacement, up to $273,215, raising the contract to $294,335, with authority to modify it up to $315,355.
16. 15 Department Response to Bull City Tenants United Proposals

    The council would receive the Neighborhood Improvement Services Department's response to Bull City Tenants United's Tenants Bill of Rights and its proposals following the November 4, 2021 work session.
17. 16 City of Durham Employment Training 2021-2023 Grant Project Ordinance Superseding Grant Project Ordinance # 15862

    The council would adopt a $1,298,600 grant project ordinance for city employment training, superseding the prior ordinance for July 2021 through June 2023.
18. 17 Second Amendment to Contract with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc. to Provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Youth Services

    The council would authorize a second amendment to the Eckerd Youth Alternatives contract for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act youth services, not to exceed $250,000, for November 2021 through June 2022.
19. 18 Third Amendment to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Contract with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc.

    The council would authorize a third amendment to a separate Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act contract with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, not to exceed $500,000, for the same November 2021 through June 2022 period.
20. 19 Amendment to Grant Project Ordinance #15691, the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy, 2020 High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Grant

    The council would accept an amended HIDTA grant and adopt a revised project ordinance reflecting a decrease from $434,439.92 to $275,033.22.

    The council would accept a 2021 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Program grant and adopt a $250,000 project ordinance for it.
22. 21 Contract Amendment No. 11 for ST-264C for Professional Services Related to Fayetteville Road Improvements

    The council would authorize a $58,000 amendment to the Kimley-Horn contract for Fayetteville Road improvements, raising it to $2,568,000, plus a $30,000 contingency fund and authority to negotiate up to $2,598,000.

    The council would award a $6,419,918 street repairs and repaving contract to Carolina Sunrock LLC, plus a $160,497.95 contingency fund and authority to negotiate change orders up to $6,580,415.95.
